All PNZ woven furniture is made from only the highest quality man-made fibre. Soft to the touch, this remarkable material has many benefits including high suppleness, tear resistance, UV resistance and weather resistance. The polyethylene based, extruded and through-dyed wicker is completely weatherproof as well as being color fast, extremely hard wearing and easy to clean. The wicker is resistant to chlorine, salt water, tanning lotions and oils.
The basic structure of a woven item is made from a fully welded, powder-coated aluminium frame. Once welded, the entire frame is electro-statically powder coated in a tough, smooth finish that matches the color of the wicker. This way, the frame is fully protected against corrosion and becomes virtually invisible once it has been woven over.
Woven furniture can be left outside all year round and is able to withstand temperatures from -20°C to +55°C

Our fiber is guaranteed for 5 years from delivery to withstand fading, weathering or cracking. This type of furniture can be left outside all year round and is able to stand very low and high temperatures. When very cold, the weave will become somewhat stiffer than normal and in extremely hot temperatures the weave will become more elastic. The furniture will retain its normal elastic property once the temperature stabilizes.
Maintainance & Care
In PNZ Outdoor Synthetic Wicker range the only maintenance required for the synthetic Wicker is an annual clean to get rid of dust and environmental debris (oils, damp) that can be trapped in the mesh or braiding. Wipe it gently with a soft sponge and rinse with water. Rinsing the synthetic wicker with pressurized water provides better results. It is advisable to clean the synthetic fiber before storing it for the winter and at the beginning of its season of regular use.
